We believe that every child deserves the best, and that starts with the milk we use. All fresh cow’s milk used in the production of NIDO® is collected from farmers who produce high quality milk. We work closely with the farmers to ensure that their cows are healthy and happy and that they are using sustainable farming practices that protect the environment for future generations. ​

When the milk is collected from the farmers, we take every precaution to ensure it stays fresh and delicious. The milk is rapidly cooled to a temperature of around 4 degrees Celsius which helps preserve its flavour and nutritional value. It is transported to the factory as quickly as possible, minimising the time it spends in transit and ensuring it is fresh when it arrives. You can feel good knowing that you are not only providing your child with the essential vitamins and minerals they need to grow but also supporting responsible farming practices that benefit animals, farmers, and the environment. ​

The secret to NIDO’s nutritious goodness​

That is why we go above and beyond when making NIDO.  From the moment fresh milk is transported to our factory, we check it rigorously to ensure that it meets our high standards for quality and nutrition. But we do not stop there. We add even more nutritious goodness to the fresh milk by fortifying it with Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Calcium, Iron, Zinc, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12 and Folic acid. These vitamins and minerals are carefully selected to support your child’s growth and development, so they can enjoy a healthy childhood and reach their full potential.​

… by the time you pick up your favourite NIDO in a shop, it would have passed over 300 quality control checks? The journey from grass to glass is extremely delicate thus NIDO complies with all the relevant food safety regulations and standards including those set by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Food and Drug Administrations. Periodic inspections and audits are also conducted on the facilities of our suppliers to ensure they meet the same high standards of quality and safety we have.​
